Welcome to blog help for PHY 122! Here's how it works. For each homework question and lab report we will make a post, this will probably contain a few tips on what the problems are about and how to solve them. If you are stuck on something then instead of emailing us directly you should post a comment in reply to the relevant post. We will try to guide you through tough points and help you understand the problems and the concepts behind them.

Chapter 16, question 8. I think something is wrong when you submit the answer, because I figured out the problem and know how to do it, but it keeps marking it wrong when I know the answer is right. I did the "Practice Another Version" and when I entered the answers for that similiar question, it was marked right, however, on the actual I calculated the same exact way as in the Practice Version, and I keep getting it marked wrong! I thought it may be due to rounding and tried several techniques (round it to 2 decimal places, then tried rounding it as 1 whole number)..still it's wrong and I know the answer is correct. Can someone help?
Nevermind, I figured it out and was able to get it marked right ;)
OK, but this is a teachable moment. I can help you with the physics if you tell me what you started with, and what you submitted. But there's really nothing that anybody can do based on "I know I'm right, but WebAssign says I'm wrong."
