Helpful comment for 1c on Lab 8 pretest
The statement of the problem for 1c in the Lab 8 pretest mentions that the formula for the radius r has m, e, and B in it. It doesn't say explicitly that it also has the (magnitude of the) velocity v in it, too. If you look at SV8, Chap. 19.6, you'll see that it must have v, too.

in the book it says r=mv/qB
after changing the q to e
r=mv/eB still isnt the right answer
so how can we get this question correct?
ALSO for #2 if the formula is B=((4/5)^(3/2))((Univ. Magconst)NI/a)
^^correct? if a is converted to meters?
if so then why is my ans incorrect? and is the unit tesla?
the rest of the questions are quite ridiculous also, I've been doing ok with the error stuff so far but the questions asked on the Maple TA for this Lab were crazy!
