As announced yesterday in lecture, we will have a review session for midterm 2 in ESS 001 (our usual lecture hall) on Sunday, 31 October, from noon - 2 pm. It will be recorded on the Echo 360 system for later viewing by those of you who can't make it to the session or want to see again what went on. I will go over the solutions to the practice midterm and then answer questions from students who have them.
At lecture yesterday I promised the practice exam for midterm 2 to be made available by "this evening" (Wednesday), but it looks like I'm not going to make it by then. I'm working steadily on it and now expect to make it available by tomorrow (Thursday) morning.

Will this practice midterm be similar to the questions on the exam?
probably not
Before completing the midterm to be given Monday evening, I will read blog comments carefully about the practice midterm and listen carefully to the comments/questions raised by students at the review session on Sunday, noon - 2 pm, ESS 001.

Do we get partial credit for the questions that ask for one or more answers? I only see that number 19 has an explanation that there is no partial credit, not the rest of the questions that ask for multiple answers.
I will make this clear on the midterm -- no partial credit will not be given for any problem that has more than one correct answer. All correct answers and no incorrect answers must be selected to receive credit.
